This commission, which is chaired by the Principal or his representative, includes staff from the establishment, including at least one teacher, and at least one parent. Its members are decided by the School board and are included in the internal regulations of the establishment which sets out the terms of its operation.
It involves, as necessary, any person likely to provide information to better understand the situation of the student concerned.
Its mission is to examine the situation of a student whose behavior is unsuitable for the rules of the establishment and to promote the search for a personalized educational approach.
The Educational Commission is also consulted in the event of incidents involving several students.
The education committee monitors the application of prevention and support measures, accountability measures as well as alternative measures to sanctions.
